 Abu Dhabi International Airport Getting to and from the airport you can take the air conditioned bus from outside the arrivals terminal, the buses depart every 40mins and it takes around forty five minutes to get you to the Abu Dhabi city centre. Taxis are available or the other options to hire a car, you will find all the familiar car rental companies are situated at the airport.

Getting around the city There are local buses servicing Abu Dhabi, however taxis are the most commonly used form of transport to get around the city.

Currency The local currency used in Abu Dhabi is the UAD Dirham. Credit cards are widely accepted and ATMs are found everywhere throughout the city.

Weather in Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi generally has a very sunny, dry climate and experiences very little rainfall. November-March the daytime temperature is on average 24 degrees Celsius. In the summer it can reach 40 degrees Celsius so remember to bring SPF and a sun hat.

Local Customs and laws Alcohol is available in hotel bars, restaurants and clubs however it is illegal to drink or be drunk in public.
