Travelling by bus is a very economical mode of transportation from the airport to the city centre. A single journey costs €3.60 and buses depart every 30 minutes between 05.40am and 11.40pm. The bus station is located outside the main entrance of the Arrivals Terminal and the Train Station Level. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the Dutch capital.

On arrival in Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport what not better way to get to your hotel is by taking a Schiphol Hotel Shuttle. A single journey costs €13.50 for adults and €6.25 for children. Buses run every 10 minutes between 06.00am and 9.00pm from Platform A7 which is situated outside the main entrance of the Arrivals Terminal and the Train Station Level.
You will also be able to travel by train from the airport to the city centre. You can purchase your tickets at the Ticket Des in the Arrivals Hall or at the yellow ticket machines. These direct trains run to Amsterdam’s Train Station every 10 to 15 minutes between 06.00am and 12.30am. The train journey takes 15-20 minutes.
Trains depart from Platforms 1, 2 and 3. They are situated under the airport’s terminal. Travelling by train will cost you €3.80 one way.
Taxis are located outside Amsterdam airport’s Arrivals Hall. It takes 15 minutes to reach Amsterdam’s city centre when travelling by taxi.
